ROSE OF JERICHO RITUAL KIT
The Ritual:
I • FULL MOON
For an especially potent ritual, begin beneath the Full Moon.
Cleanse your home and sacred space with the Palo Santo.
Speak aloud:
With this sacred smoke, I awaken this space.
I clear what has grown still, heavy, or forgotten.
I release the remnants of what has already lived its season here.
Let this home breathe again.
Let every room remember peace.
Let warmth return to its walls,
and let the energy within become clear, vibrant, and alive.
I make sacred space for healing.
I make sacred space for becoming.
I make sacred space for the magic that begins here.
If called, cast a sacred circle according to your practice, inviting the Directions, Elements, Elementals, Ancestors, Spirit Guides, Goddess, and other benevolent allies to witness, assist, and protect your ritual.
Sprinkle the Banishing Black Salt at the entryways of your home, significant thresholds on your property, and around your ritual space.
As you place the salt, speak:
With salt, ash, root, and Earth,
I strengthen the boundaries of this sacred place.
Let all who enter come in peace.
Let love and kindness be welcomed here.
Let laughter, healing, creativity, and good fortune be welcomed here.
And that which comes with harm or ill intention,
let it meet this boundary and travel no farther.
This home is protected.
This space is sacred.
All within are held in blessing.
Light your Tealight Blessing Candle and, if you feel a connection to Hekate, invite her wisdom to hold council as you work your magic.
Invocation to Hekate
Hekate, Keeper of the Crossroads,
Torchbearer, Keyholder, Guardian of the Threshold,
I call to you.
Come, luminous one, and stand beside me in this sacred work.
Raise your torches over all I cannot yet see.
Bring wisdom where there has been uncertainty,
clarity where there has been confusion,
and courage where I am being asked to change.
With your keys, unlock what is ready to be opened.
With your flame, illuminate what is ready to be known.
With your presence, guard the work begun here tonight.
Hekate, bearer of keys and sacred flame,
I welcome your wisdom and your light.
Close your eyes. Breathe. Visualize yourself surrounded by the unseen helpers you have invoked.
When ready, hold your Mt. Ida Quartz and speak your intention into it. Be specific. Visualize your intention as you speak it aloud.
Place the Rose of Jericho into a special bowl with your charged Quartz beside her. Pour clean water over the Rose, filling the bowl.
As you offer the water, speak:
Ancient One, Keeper of Earth and Water,
I awaken your medicine.
As these waters touch you, awaken.
Unfurl from your dreaming.
Stretch your ancient branches toward life once more.
Drink deeply.
Remember the green within you.
Remember the miracle of beginning again.
As you awaken, awaken this sacred work with you.
Gather what has become stagnant and return movement where life has grown still.
Draw away what is finished and nourish what is becoming.
Carry my intention within your waters.
Give it root. Give it life.
Teach it, as you know so well, the sacred art of becoming.
May healing deepen.
May possibility stir.
May abundance grow.
May the life I am tending begin to unfurl.
Rose of Jericho, Ancient One ~ Awaken.
Write your wish, word, sigil, symbol, or intention upon the Bay Leaf and place it beneath your ritual bowl.
When complete, thank and release those you called and close your circle.
The daily tending of your Rose of Jericho carries the ritual forward.
II • WANING MOON
As the Moon wanes, tend your Rose and allow her ritual to unfold each day.
Change her water daily without touching the activated Rose or her water with your hands.
Pour the old water directly onto the Earth ~ never down the drain.
As you return her water to the Earth, speak:
Mother Earth,
I return these waters to you.
Receive all that has been gathered here.
Receive what I am finished carrying.
Receive what has completed its teaching.
Take what is weary and let it rest.
Take what is tangled and loosen it.
Take what has reached its ending and draw it gently back into yourself.
Keep what is medicine.
Compost what is not.
Turn what has been released into nourishment.
Turn endings into fertile soil.
Turn what I no longer need into food for something new.
Nothing is wasted.
Nothing is lost.
Everything changes form.
As the Moon releases her light,
I release with her.
And with open hands,
I allow the Earth to carry what I no longer need to carry.
Replenish your Rose with fresh water.
Talk to your Rose. Thank her. Notice your dreams, emotions, the energy of your home, and shifts around you. Journal what surfaces asking to be witnessed, transformed, healed, or released.
Follow the Rose instead of the calendar.
When you know her part in the ritual is complete, honor that knowing. If she carries you toward the New Moon, allow it to become the completion of your ritual.
III • NEW MOON
The clearing has been done.
The space has been made.
Now decide what will grow within it.
If called, cast your circle and invite your allies to witness the ritual's completion. Re-light your Tealight Blessing Candle and smudge with Palo Santo.
Return the Rose's final water directly to the Earth and allow her to dry naturally, drawing inward to rest.
Place your charged Mt. Ida Quartz upon your altar.
Safely burn your Bay Leaf, releasing your intention to Spirit.
Leave your Banishing Black Salt in place as continued protection, refreshing it whenever intuitively called.
Take your Cinnamon Rose Prosperity Blessing Powder outside. Open the doors and windows through which you wish to welcome abundance and blessing, or carry it to the entrance to your land.
Stand outside facing inward and blow the powder toward and into your home.
As you blow the powder, speak:
The work of release is complete.
The Earth has received what I surrendered,
and from the space that remains,
I choose to create.
I welcome a life that is rich in all the ways that matter.
May there be love within these walls.
May there be laughter around this table.
May there be enough ~ and more than enough ~ to share.
May creativity move freely through my hands.
May inspiration find me awake and willing.
May my work be valued.
May my gifts be received.
May what I nurture flourish.
May there be beauty in ordinary mornings,
warmth in the gathering of friends,
food in the kitchen,
peace in the quiet hours,
and wonder enough that I never stop noticing the magic of being alive.
I welcome prosperity that nourishes rather than consumes.
Success that leaves room for joy.
Growth that deepens my roots as it reaches toward the light.
I welcome a life with room to breathe,
room to create, love, give,
and room to receive.
With Cinnamon, I kindle the fire of abundance.
With Rose, I call the heart into everything I create.
Let what I love flourish.
Let what I nurture grow.
Let this home be filled with life.
And let me have the wisdom to recognize just how abundant I already am.
Pause in gratitude. Thank the Rose of Jericho, Mother Earth, your ritual allies, and all who accompanied you.
If you cast a circle, thank and release those you called and close the Directions according to your practice.
May the circle be open, but unbroken.
May the love of the Goddess be forever in your heart.
May the Earth hold you,
the Elements guide you,
and your magic continue to unfold.
Merry Meet, Merry Part,
and Merry Meet Again.
Blessed Be.
A CLOSING BLESSING FROM THE ROSE WITCH
May your heart be light and your spirit nourished.
May all that is sacred within you be tended and protected.
May what has been waiting quietly within you awaken,
and every intention you plant find rich and fertile ground.
May joy find you easily.
May abundance grow in all its beautiful forms.
May you know the sweetness of being fully present in your own life.
May you remember the wisdom carried in your bones,
the strength woven through your story,
and the quiet magic of simply being alive.
May you have the courage to become more fully yourself.
May you tend what you love and allow yourself to be tended in return.
May wonder continue to find you.
May laughter live loudly in your home.
May beauty infuse ordinary days.
May your hands create, your heart remain curious,
and your life continue to surprise you.
Trust what is unfolding.
Root deeply in what you love.
Nourish what makes you come alive.
Receive all that is ready to bloom.
You are loved. You are needed here, at this time.
Your presence matters. Your gifts are a blessing to the lives they touch.
There is still so much within you waiting to bloom.
Shine your light, my love.
The world is brighter for your being in it.
Blessed Be, All My Love ~
Azalyne, The Rose Witch
