I bought three tea blends from TheRose Witch Apothecary at the Mt Hope Renaissance Faire at one of their Yule Tide weekends: Divine Rose Tea, Winter Solstice Morning Tea, and Yuletide Mulling Spices. The Divine Rose Tea is the BEST smelling and tasting tea I've ever had! ... so far ... I haven't tried all of their teas yet! These aren't dessicated powders, but actual herbals that one could mistake for fragrant and tasty potourri. The Yuletide mulling spices I mixed with some apple cider and also brewed it straight with excellent results. Best mulling mix that I ever tasted. The Winter Solstice Morning Tea smells like Christmas and tastes wonderful, just the right spot after coming in from the snow or wishing you had.
The vendors are delightful, friendly characters who care about their tea and customer satisfaction and were very patient as I smelled the samples and taste tested the open brew. Get these when they come back in season! My guests were amazed when they tasted it at my house. No sweeteners required, these taste great on their own.
